The Gut-Immune System

The gut is a person’s primary surface in contact with the outside world, with a surface area more than 10 times the size of our skin. As our primary contact, it houses more than two-thirds of our immune cells. Realizing this, we see that the gut and the immune system are two parts of an integrated whole; gut integrity produces immune system competency, and gut disruption creates immune system confusion.

In the gut-immune system module, we learn the physiology underlying the gut-immune system and the cutting-edge clinical diagnostics and interventions for restoring optimal health to this core network.
